>>8884061There's been some nice ones to come out in recent times, but very few wowed me enough to buy them; mostly I stick to the Pick-a-Brick wall and blindbag figs, as well as BrickLink. I download a lot of Lego instructions for inspiration, sometimes to build a set in different colors than the original. Guess I'm too firmly rooted in the 90s Golden Age of Lego, heh.
For the most part Mega has felt worth the price in store, though I certainly don't mind markdowns and clearances when things are tight. An exception has been that big Banished turret from the latest Halo wave, even marked down from $90 CAD to $65 I can't find it interesting enough to pick up. Have to admit that despite the general quantity decline in army builder sets they put out a couple good ones in that same wave; the set with two Marines, a Mongoose, a Grunt and an Elite for $17 CAD is the same cost as those last CoD 4-packs but you get more in it, looking forward to a similar set with a Ghost, two Grunts and a Spartan at presumably the same price coming to my area.
