Taking a break from building my own stuff, built a couple of the flying boat seaplane of 31064 Creator Island Adventures, one a straight version in black, the other this more colorful version with slight modifications. Made the interior a bit more roomy and changed the props to four bladed. The blade colors were arbitrary; my 1x3 tile supply is woefully inadequate at the moment.
The main reason for building this second one was an abundance of those curved slope pieces from a prior PaB purchase, same story for those curved tile pieces on top. The room's lighting sucks unfortunately but I really like this plane, more so than the all-black version surprisingly. Flying boats are a bit under-represented in Lego, most seaplanes tend to be the pontoon style to get away with using their large airplane pieces. The other significant one they did was the 5935 Adventurers Island Hopper, got a black and white version stored somewhere and might build another sometime, perhaps a variant with this other one's wing style to use more of those curved slopes.
