Either way, that's generally not how it works. Licensees have to figure out their own ways into selling their toys in the respective markets, and Hiya already has a fantastic relationship in the US. Almost everyone carries their toys and a lot of places have no problems even putting their stuff on sale (not clearance), so their wholesale prices must be pretty sweet... but that's probably just because they're chinese.
I mean, good for them if they do start getting sold in Targets and Walmarts (in the collector sections), but this delay is fucked up and worrying.
>>10244868It's been two years since Hiya's license got revealed, so i really can't imagine what the fucking hold up is, since everything else they've announced have already been released or up for preorder.
Even fucking Mezco and with their fucked up delays, they're still offering solicitations and continuing to make announcements that shows they're not going bankrupt (yet) by being able to afford more licenses.
It took over a year for Hiya to finally show off their GI Joes, announce a release date, and then a few months later, they've gone silent and retailers took down their preorder pages.
