The Plamatea racing Miku is a piece of shit.
It feels like the previous plamax racing miku from last year, arguably better Color separation, but 100% the same dogshit part layout. Her little cloak is made of a similar piece of plastic to the 30ms Tokai Teio, not ideal, but then that's only the side parts over here arms, the back portion is a thick slab of plastic, making the whole thing feel gappy and cheap as hell. There is no detent in the joints to hold the torso parts together. This wouldn't be too big a deal, but the shafts the balls sit on are the bare minimum in lenth, and the upper torso joint is a double ball so short one side can nearly swallow up the joint. This makes her not only fall apart constantly, but it breaks her torso articulation in a way that makes it utterly useless. Her thighs and hips, the most eye drawing part of the kit, is designed thoughtlessly. The ass breaks as soon as you move the legs forward at all. Oddly, the front has a similar problem, usually this joint setup has the joint set forward in a way to let the leg clear the hip piece, here pushing the leg back slightly creates a large gap in the hip area above the legs. The thigh parts are layered... backwards. The shorts insert inside a thigh shell, making a nasty unnatural gap around the part of her ass that is supposed to look like it spills out from under the shorts, it's very gross looking. The knees are baffling, the joint seems too small for what it's doing, there is a slot in the back of the upper leg that should alow for a deep bend, but the tiny joint only allows for slightly above 90° before being blocked by the surrounding leg. The elbows are really jank looking in straightened out poses, funny enough it's actually visible in one of the promo images.
In hand, once you realize how jank it feels you can't unsee it even in the box photos, the front skirt hinge is hideous and should have been a tipoff this kit wasn't of the same quality as the last Miku wich was fantastic.
