Got Link in today. I'm not really a figure collector, I'm mostly into Transformers (as you can see), so I can't say how well his articulation stacks up to other modern toys, but overall, I'm pleased.
Pros:
>great sculpt
>lots of accessories
>big boots mean he's easy to balance even without the stand
>everything pegs/unpegs easily, yet sturdily to fit in his hands
Cons:
>washed out colors. Another anon said it, but he really does look like he was left in the sun or something. It's not too bad, but you do notice it.
>not enough weapons. I would have rather had a boomerang and bow instead of the pot, rupee and hermit crab.
>bomb doesn't peg into hand very well, hole isn't big enough.
>could have used another face. His happy face is a bit dopey looking, so I don't see myself using it often. Maybe a scared/startled face would have been nice?
>no sheath for sword. I know he doesn't have one in the game, or in the artwork, but still...
Mostly nitpicking on the cons, but whatevs. Like many anons, I've been waiting for a Link like this for a long time. If they ever do actually make an NES/SNES era Link figure, it'll be an easy swap, though.
