It was Sunrise not Bandai who initiated legal action against the parent company Dragon Momoko was a small branch of (apparently they were up to a lot of far shadier shit than what DM was up to, shutting them down was just a bonus). There were a lot of strong rumours the factory raids were instigated by DABAN who supposedly tipped off authorities & threw DM under the bus.
