As a pro artist like myself you should recognize this is not really anatomically correct, nor is it in line with the concept art regardless of materials or physical limitations of the figures joints.
You may not appreciate this opinion, but I do quite like the gankyness of some of the snail shell girls particularly here and with Phantom, both are fantastic figures. The strange proportions give them a unnatural feel in line with their themes. Also, Milk Tea and Wasp have generally normal human proportions.
