Speaking of caricatured ninja and samurai, I'd kill for an entire modern lineup of Onimusha figures. I know McFarlane made a number of figures based on the 2nd game, but aside from a few figures, the whole thing desperately needs a modern upgrade in figures.
I always loved how the series took proper Feudal Japan aesthetics and dialed it up to near-fantasy levels without going overboard, 4th game aside. Little details like the 2nd game's main character (pic-related) wearing a samurai warcoat as a sign of his royal status are exactly the kinds of trivial details I'm talking about that these figures sorely need (at least the non-army building "special ones" anyway). Even the demonic creatures you fight in the game derive from a mix of Japanese folklore, using stuff like oni and youkai for the basis of their designs. Heck, the main antagonist Nobunaga wears Western-inspired armor based on the rumored notion that he surrounded himself with Western items and may have even owned some Western armor himself.
