I think i know how shit works because I'm not dumb and that's why i use nuked water.
Doing it like you said requires more work, because it's not something i can just be lazy about.
It costs more and getting a stand of some sort is harder than just placing it in a mug.
I can even leave the mug in the microwave for a couple of minutes and it's still going to be hotter than a hair dryer.
Sorry, but i'm lazy/efficient and using a hair dryer is very dumb, unless I'm actually working on something delicate.
