I always wanted the SIC Kanto Oni, I loved the redesigns. So I decided to start with Zanki and Ibuki. They don't feel fragile, as is often the concern with older SICs, but good lord, these might be some of the most frustrating figures I've ever handled. EVERYTHING falls off. The shoulder pads fall off constantly, as does the diecast chest armor. The disk animals like to fall off the belt, and sometimes the legs even pop off the balljoints when I'm trying to pose them. To top it off, Zanki doesn't seem to have a stable way to hold onto his guitar, so I have it basically clamped against his body with his arm.
They look as amazing as I'd hoped, but god, I hope I don't need to touch them again for a long, long time. Wrangling them into a decent pose once was torturous enough. Also, is there any reason to ever remove the diecast chest parts, or should I just glue them in?
