Mego, having seen runaway success with micronauts, later applied baron karza's magnet gimmick to the droids from their Black Hole line. Unfortunately due to the poor sales of the human protagonists, the magnetic figures never saw wide release outside of Italy or France. Ironically enough the same Italian distributor of these figures would go onto modify Mego's diecast superhero figures to also be magnetic. Magnetic action figures in general are so underrated.
