>>10594850I think it's the ability to clearly convey what you want your figure to be doing(like kicking, kneeling, aiming, etc). Good posing can be subtle as well, not every pose needs to be flashy and dynamic. It just needs to look natural. One way to start is to try your best to copy poses from comic art or real life images.
Bad posing looks stiff, unnatural, uncomfortable and confusing. Like a geriatric old man trying to do the Ironman landing pose and gave up half-way through.
