>>6426995Sadly this, I've seen a lot of apologists on Facebook groups and such talking about how bland designs almost directly copied from the rushed production models of a 1980s cartoon are the greatest thing ever. There are people genuinely who defend this, who think all Masterpieces should look like bland PVC statues simply because of their nostalgic attachment to the show, and it's honestly rather concerning. Imagine if Gundam designs never evolved beyond the original anime.
