>>6426282Files aren't meant to be used with lubrication, much less water. If you really want to "wet sand", use diamond files. These have diamond particles embedded in a chromium layer, they are essentially permanent sandpaper. You can use them safely with water since the chromium layer makes them water-resistant. They cost like 5 bucks for an assorted set at your local hardware store.
