And I can totally understand someone, like yourself evidently, getting confused about which artist the Mafex figures are emulating. Jim Lee's art, especially in the 90s, was pretty sketchy. Look at the hatch lines on pic related. They definitely are more distinct as time went on but a lot of their earlier stuff could be quite similar.
