The gimmick with CW Legend Class toys was for them to transform into weapon mode for the Combiners. Not sure why some weren't documented.

Bombshell was clearly designed to work with CW, despite having seemingly been neutered.

I like the idea that each of the three Insecticons have a gimmick for each of the three lines they were released in.
