If it makes oyu guys feel better, seeing them in person will change your view. The spandex makes sure that the clothes isn't a floppy stiff mess like most dolls affecting the articulation and the texture is barely noticeable to the point it's like any movie costume in the movies.
I remember being worried about the turtleneck on Deadpool from the pictures being shown on /toy/ pre-SDCC, but seeing it for myself on Preview Night made me stiffer than a Figma cloth cape.

I was with you too. I bought Batman and Judge Dredd, being really impressed, but I remember seeing pictures being posted here Tuesday before Comic Con and thinking it looked pretty bad. I got to SDCC Wednesday and after seeing it for myself the next day, i knew it was a must have.

The pictures do not give it justice at all, not even mine.

The head is too tiny. I had to pass him up despite liking the black costume. The upcoming NetFlix Deadpool looks far superior.

Not him, but Figma has the best movie IM figure.
Their figures actually look human, like Yamaguchi's stylized animoo figures with giant necks and hunched backs.
So if you're a weeaboo who must only buy supeliol Nipponese figures, Figma is your best choice.

Mezco is making the best Deadpool figure though.
Costs as much as a Figma or Revoltech, yet offers more detail, working holsters, and likely more accessories too. A variant or two may be made too.

Diamond and Mezco have the license for collector toys that are ~6" tall, not Hasbro.
