I think Captain Marvel would have been better if they had introduced him much later into... well, maybe a better cinematic universe. Start off with him wanting to be like heroes he looks up to (lol not in Synder Universe), but as a dumb kid trying to be like the heroes he admires, which always results in a ton of collateral damage.
In the middle of the movie he tries to join the Justice League, but they reject him because he's too childish and makes too many mistakes. This makes him try to act more mature and do more thinking-before-doing that culminates with him becoming a good hero by the end of the movie.
SEQUEL is him being rejected by the Justice League again at the beginning of hte movie, because he's now a horndog teenager and his flirting with a female JLer ends bad.
Then shit happens.
Third movie is him finally joining the Justice League and i'd love to see them do this episode of JLU.
I skipped Joker because I already saw Taxi Driverman and the King of Comedy.
