>>6188769>>6188779You guys have no eye for character design. The first movie did unique things with the silhouette of almost every Jaeger. Even the ones I found most boring (Gipsy and Striker) had unique points of interest, like Gipsy's weird almost dracula-esque collar rising up behind its head for example.
The PR2 designs are lazy to the extreme. They honestly look like work I used to see from certain classmates back in design school--people who knew how to paint, but had no imagination. There's just no personality to these--like the Doom cover, you could slap any logo on there and nobody would have any idea something was amiss.
