>Rodimus is the one who does everything wrongMTMTE Rod was an interesting character that sort of ignored the growth he had prior to the series, and whatever growth he made in MTMTE sort of felt reversed by his later antics. Call me a grimdark edgelord, but I wish Roberts went with his depressing original ideas on Rewind 1 and 2 finding out CD did the needleshit on Dominus, as well as Rodimus anonymously giving up his life to save the new planet. The latter would have marked his personal growth and given him a neat send-off, instead of eternal purgatory in the Republic of Chad. Mixed feelings about the juxtaposition of an escapist-tier happy-end although I think that was kind of the point... albeit Rung got forgotten in both ends.

I like Marvel/G1 Rod for his character development and his sheer tiredness. And the fact that Hot Rod AND Rodimus exist means I can enjoy both the dashing reckless adventurer as well as the sad redboy that I want to give a great big hug to, pic semi-related.
