At the least, you'd have thought someone would have done a radio controlled one in the 80s. In all honesty, I don't think the movies were all that particularly popular. They're kinda cheezy, and a little weird, but also strangely wholesome. Would also say they're family friendly, but then there's that scene where, after building him up over two movies as being "alive" two thugs brutally hack him apart with axes, while his fluids spray everywhere like blood. Kinda morbid, considering how the rest of the two movies play out.
I always did want a good, well-articulated figure of him. Back in the day when I was a kid, my friends and I build a bunch of different looking Johnny 5/Nova robots out of LEGO.
