There was a formula that worked until someone thought, let's fuck with it and see how it works.
Hasbro didn't need to go plastic free cause it was never broken.
Probably some California Hippie was like "Hey, save a plastic tree and go all cardboard and paper!".
Because it was the Biden Administration and things were going "left", they thought why not, and failed hard (again, go woke, go broke).
Now, it's do anything for the stock numbers and now Hasbro is shifting to digital goods cause you can just make shit with illustrations/3D models in code and sell it.
