>>8576192Truth be told, I don't even like a lot of BF designs, like at least 50% of them don't appeal to me. But it's just fuckin fun, man. Build Fighters gave the perfect reason to put fun new spins on existing suits. It's fun in a way that Bandai hadn't had for years before that. Especially after the triple threat of Destiny, 00, and AGE, all of which only produced a few suits each that I liked, I was pretty down on Gundam as a whole. BF was what brought me back in, at a time when I was virtually ready to quit. It was fresh and inventive and you never knew what kind of weird wacky concept you were gonna get next, built on the framework of suits you already knew and loved.
Build Fighters isn't even close to as good, but it carries a bit of the spirit of Ganso SD Gundam, another off-the-wall series that I absolutely love.
