Mattel seems to either hurry up with molds and leaves them half done or they use really cheapshit molds that somehow wear out 10x faster than normal molds.
I mean, look at this shit from the Aquaman movie line. The crab thing looks like PS2 in game model that hasn't had the texture load up yet, while the prototype (top left) is what the cutscene model looks like.
And you can't say it's a shit photo, because the fish figure on the left exists with all that detail, while the crab doesn't.
