It's a weird time capsule how there was enough fandom demand in the mid-10s for every last Filmation PoP woman even with those giant pegs messing up the sculpt.

"no rooted hair at retail" makes me wonder if She-Ra will still be the only Origins PoP when Mattel does the post-Snakes year.
Heck, I wasn't even in the fandom during Classics, so I don't know what the dynamic of getting the Hordeswomen and Great Rebellion was like for that. Was it overwhelmingly male Filmation fags asking Scott for more Filmation characters?

Mattel redoing PoP is always a big mystery, between the toy vs Filmation differences and the question of whether retailers need to put toys that look like pic related in the action figure or doll section to sell through. With Classics, they sold them to adult collectors by subscription... I don't know how much extra production ended up at Big Lots.
