This long into the series, new information was revealed about Hordak's life and Adora's childhood. One of Hordak's domestic servants, the nanny who raised Adora, reaches retirement age, secretly planning to retire to Whispering Woods with Adora and her Rebels.
HORDAK: You have been my best servant, Shakra. You have done well for me all these long years.
ADORA: This woman raised me from the time Hordak stole me as an infant til the time I left the Horde. ... Shakra was all the mother I had until my brother Adam found me.
I love the idea that Hordak, a planetary commander in a galactic empire, a wizard, a Transformer and apparently Satan's younger brother, raised Adora in an ordinary upper-class household where the servants didn't have to be evil. That's an untapped vein of storytelling gold.
