THE GOOD
>Better doll body overall in terms of sculpt, quality, and articulation.>Fun accessories.>Fair, competitive MSRP.>The humorous touches are still kept in from the G1 days.>Decent outfit that’s not a printed on sack of potatoes.THE BAD
>No stand or bush.>Cheap, nasty feeling hair that can easily get messy.THE UGLY
>What exactly is that hole in the tail for?>Is this a new orifice for coomers to ogle and fap to?Overall, I’m pretty happy with Toralei. I can’t deny that these new MH dolls are a quality doll for what you pay for. While I’m not happy with some of the choices they made to the MH revival line, (Look at they massacred my girl Clawdeen!) The line is still rooted in a clear, well defined theme of pun-filled monsters that can bring out some really fun & creative touches. As opposed to the LOLRANDUM of OMG dolls or the bland surface theme of colors of Rainbow High, or the be everyone, doing everything, all at once of Barbie. Monster High has a level of world building that those lines lack, which made it stand out and become popular in the first place. And it’s strange to think that such things as lore & world building were a common thing in practically all toy lines in the 80’s. And that's why I’ve always said that MH is the last great toy line of the 80’s that just got production delayed for two decades.
