Space is limited in the showroom booths and they want to clear everything out by the end of the day to trudge new boxes afterward or in the mornings.
And the raffle is a great idea, because fucking thousands of people are circling the booth when there's no room to have that many people in one place every single hour.
Shit sucks for every booth around it, because these cows are blocking everyone else from enjoying other displays. Last year the raffle cleared up a ton of space and anyone who had their "raffle ticket" could walk in and out of the hasbro store in less than 10 minutes vs 30+ minutes AND the time it took to be given the chance to stand in line for the hasbro store booth.
