If not...they have drastically altered the design, made it look worse and of course it's inaccurate. That floating piece helps reduce the pot belly effect and also covers up some gaps
If this piece truly is missing from all copies and GSC refuses to send out the missing piece for free I will cancel it even though I desperately want a Gilgamesh figure. This kind of mistake on a figure this expensive is unforgivable. The paint job isn't looking so hot but the lighting in these pics sucks badly even compared to this shot here. Of course the joints look way duller than this prototype as well but I kind of expected that. When don't figma joints look dull?
