Masterforce was a mess. They didn't even introduce the main character until like 10+ episodes in.
>The headmaster Jr.s are the main characters!Then that's fucked too, because they fall out of focus so hard for the sake of the Godmasters, they hardly even qualify as supporting cast anymore.
Also they couldn't even afford their own final villain. The final encounter is just a recolor of the villain from the last show. They don't even have any in-universe relation, just an extra form that was just them transforming the toy wrong on purpose.
