Plenty of stuff uses what are functionally Y-joint hips and manages to still have really good articulation like the synthetic human and polynians, but this guy looks like the range going straight forward is very poor. So it's maybe closer to stuff like revoltech ultron or snake which drove me absolutely crazy.
