All the figures from that subline had that same WWII aesthetic to the point where the main villains were pretty much Nazis. It didn't run long, only had like one wave and three vehicles (the bad guy's tank being the best) and was eventually mutated into G.I. Joe Extreme.

It's a low flying, danger close bomber, which isn't a role the Joes have covered with any other vehicle. It's got a pretty sleek shape, it's not excessively large where it's hard to handle, has tons of bombs and even those neat double underchin gatling guns (which should've been a separate piece, not just molded in). This thing came real close to being an actually cool vehicle, it just needed a few small changes....and a completely different name. Ground support bomber or no, "Mudfighter" is the last thing I'd think of when naming any kind of aircraft.
