>>11628018And if you compare to Hasbro in 2008, of course there were making a shit ton of new molds for their brand new toylines.
When shit is new, they HAVE to make new molds. Once they make enough molds, they can start reusing them.
>This is just THIS YEARNo shit? Everything else has increased in price THIS year too. It hasn't stopped, and as i pointed out, there's preorders for HAsbro shit for $30 now AND they're not increasing the quality either. So it's not going to stop getting more expensive in the future either.
Your entire problem is with the economy, not McFarlane.
You just don't notice because you don't buy any other toyline, or buy your own groceries, own a car, buy clothes, eat fast food, and other shit that normal people have noticed has gone up in price because they leave their house.
See pic? There's some mold reuse here, but there's way more new molding. This budget children's toy cost ~$45 one year ago. The previous image i used was released just a month ago, has way more mold reuse and it costs ~$65 RIGHT NOW in stores.
The higher prices are simply because of the current state of the economy. The mold reuse is just how shit has been done for 20 years or so. You can't expect other companies who make budget children toys to act differently, because this is already a standard that's higher than 90% of childrens toy companies out there.
