- THEY MUST BE COMPATIBLE WITH THE OLD ONES. I can't stress this enough. It would be stupid to alienate all the old fans by making a whole new joint system. Actually, I wonder if Hasbro is allowed to, being that the guys who started the line are off making their Modibot stuff now, which are Xevoz-compatible. Maybe they hold the rights to the joints?
- Good concepts. The original line had some great ideas, I would hate to see the new line tanked by shitty designs. It would also go a long way towards appeasing longtime fans if they released some kind of iteration of the unreleased molds, like Mech Shell.
- Don't strip the humor out of the line. We still need the joke parts.
I am cautiously optimistic, but afraid of the phrase "very different from the original." The original toyline was virtually perfect in my book, so the further they stray from that, the more they've fucked up.
