>>10034171>we did have them teaching them tools so ehIt's not THAT much of a stretch, especially if you're familiar with archaeology and mythology and realize that the earliest deities ever depicted are either weirdly proportioned humanoids, half-human-half-animals, or full on animals with weird proportions. Take pic related, for example: It's the earliest known piece of carved art in human history, and it's true nature is still not really understood; some think it depicts a feline deity, while others believe it's a carving of a shaman in mid-transformation into a lion/cheetah/other big cat. In the context of Beast Wars, who's to say this isn't a caveman's interpretation of Cheetor (who we know was one of the Maximals who was teaching the primitive humans), as described to him by his father, and his father's father, and his father's father's father, etc. via oral tradition? Who's to say that the Native American cave paintings that depict really odd looking humanoids aren't depicting their creator's interpretations of the stories of the Maximals and Predacons in their robot modes? Or that the Vimana blasting cities and vaporizing people with weapons from the skies described in the Indian Rigveda aren't reinterpretations of the stories of the Nemesis as Megatron was going laser-crazy with its main cannon? Lots and lots of things in history can be made to fit into Beast Wars retroactively , so why not the existence of mythological beings as well? There's no doubt that, on the timeline, Megatron is literally the first ever depiction of a dragon on Earth, so why not have Fuzors be the inspiration for things like Griffins, or the Chimera, or Cerberus, and so on?
