Medicom almost surely used this pic for reference of him but a modern design for the hoodie and then just slapped easy extra heads for the different eyes he's had over the years
But this picture in particular is one of the very, very few I've seen where the leather belt is simple and lack the red button design that almost all other pictures of him have
It's weird they mix and matched the elements like this but at the same time, the MAFEX Spider-man figures never seemed quite as accurate or based on artist style as their other figures, especially the DC ones which are based specifically and labeled as Hush
Maybe they'll put out a 1.5 or 2.0 where the belt and hoodie are based on the more common and classic look
