>>6904604It's an exclusive licensed product that you could only get by buying into a subscription service where you had to commit to buying what is essentially 12-14 figures. I say 12-14, because you received a 13th mystery figure that is a surprise of what it is until it arrives, and a 14th figure as an incentive for signing up.
Based on the price it costs to subscribe, which is well over $300, it's fair to state that most of the figures have a basic value then of around $30+. The $45 is the late comer tax. And the $30+ for the basic price is on par with all the other third party 1:18 toys suddenly appearing and being funded on kickstarters. There's no real mystery behind it all outside of people saying:
>"PAY $35 for a GI JOE? HA! I used to get those for around $8 at retail! FUCK THEM, I'll pay $40 for Marauder Task Force! That'll show them! Now I'm gonna blow this dog, who wants to watch?">>6904612Debatable. A Bossfight figure is around similar price and those aren't even licensed toys, where as the Bucky O'Hare figures they do are and my understanding is cost more to make because of it.
These are lower production run figures not done by Hasbro, just licensed by them.
>>6904613>Hasbro knows the morons who won't let this brand go will pay anything for shitty repaints and parts reuses just to "get an update of that ARAH character that hasn't been updated yet" even though they own the original toys.Hasbro doesn't make the Club figures, the Club makes them.
