It was a stupid idea on Classics Grimlock (who I still appreciate for having the balls to change up the standard Grimlock formula) and it's a stupid idea here, not to mention Grimlock has been shown to have his tail hanging off his legs in the comic. Much as it would add more kibble, I'll still take that for the sake of accuracy, less partsofrming, and not having to deal with a stupid "whip"/"sword" wannabe weapon that I'll never have him hold because of how stupid it looks.
