>>8943890>>8944046>>8944074I guess I really didn't like the proportions. McFarlane's sculpt looks really squat and has the look of having no neck. I would really have liked a leaner, lankier Necron, and most critically, I would have liked the face to be longer and slimmer. I would also have liked the green energy shits to have some sort of crackling paint detailing and to be more of a neon green (I know you can do this yourself, but the non-AP line should be able to stand on its own as-is).
I know this isn't quite fair though. I looked back at the New Edition trailer (which is certainly the source material for all of these) and the Necron in there DO look kinda bad proportionally. Oh well. Nothing do be done about it at this point, I doubt we'll ever get any Necron action figures from anyone else, and if we do, they won't be based on classic 40k either.
