McFarlane was the reason I got into figure collecting. Their Movie Maniacs line in particular. First time I seen Freddy in a shop I almost crapped my pants, their sculpts were amazing at the time.
I collected multiple Spawn series, The Matrix lines, Tortured Souls and some of their Dragons line and random figures they had out like Slash, Hendrix and the Metallica set.
The
spawn.com forums were good back then aswel. There was some serious collectors posting there. But then McFarlane went crappy, haven't bought one of their figures in years.
