>>9619698>i rarely post here anymore or WOULD be more active if i didn't have to sort through so much weird garbage. Everyone is responsible for regulating their own online experience. It’s not other anons’ responsibility to “not be cringe”, it’s YOUR responsibility to post stuff you like instead of impotently seething at stuff you hate.
But if you’re the same Midge-poster I think you are, you have a textbook incel “sour grapes” mindset (eg using your interest in Barbies as an excuse for not trying to date because “any woman I met would think I was pathetic because of my hobby so why bother”) and continue to blame external forces for your own unhappiness instead of finding contentment from within.
And speaking of “posting stuff you like“ I recently picked up the Violet from jakks Pacific‘s Incredibles 2 line of “costumed action figures”, and am very impressed at the accuracy of her face sculpt and the inset eyes which we almost never see on a playline doll at the $15 price point.
An articulated body combined with a full-body fabric suit was probably not the best design choice, but normally Incredibles merchandise is in the “boys“ product category so to get a line of 1/6 scale dolls was itself unexpected.
Incredibles was one of my favorite films as a kid and I had the original Violet fashion doll released by the Disney store in 2004, but this new one blows it completely out of the water.
