>>10139452Nah, their GF Starscream, while it has issues, was already done in the waning days of MT. The big problem they had overall was not picking a lane. That's a death sentence for most companies. As much as I love their Cross dimension line, it came at a time where buyers already had MP, Mainline/Classics, and the emerging Legends scale to compete with. Asking buyers to get in on the ground floor of a new scale/concept was a hard sell. Similar thing happened with Badcube's natures line.
The other unfortunate thing is that their MP aesthetics shifted gears in the middle. So their chunky, toy/toon hybrid(almost Dreamwave, and thats a four letter word in this stupid fandom) line became a stylized, toon accuracy line. And they nailed a perfect mix of toon accuracy while also making the sculpts lively, but that was too little too late. A lot of their older MPs had gotten other updates, too.
GF Meteor/Starscream's issues really started pipping up about a year after they started quieting down.
