>>9387081stick with the normal brush for now, I'd say. it will take more time, but it's a big money saver. a cheap chink airbrush will only last you so long, and even then you'll need a decent compressor, which will run you at least $100. get a few cheap synthetic brushes (honestly a $5 bundle from a crafts store is enough), a hobby knife, a plastic palette (I can get these at a local crafts store for $2 apiece), some pipettes, and a superglue + plastic model cement. a can of primer can't hurt, too. that's basically bare minimum for what you need. if you want your models to look really good, you'll need loads of other stuff -- but I imagine you may not even like the hobby to begin with, so it's not worth splurging and buying hundreds of $ of equipment.
