I always wanted to have the pirate one, and then he bought it.
Strange. But I truly loved LEGO.
Sadly I went through the dark ages, I could've bought all his collection for pennies later.
But I played a lot with him after I "spread" my love for LEGO to him.
I just had a few sets though.
By the way, he never finished to build any of his LEGO.
I was the one who was doing that, when I visited him.
I would ask him if he finished to build the pirate one, that I really, really wanted, I wanted to see how it was like. And he went "why do you want to know that?" lol
I had built it 1/4 though, but apparently I made a mistake somewhere and his brother complained?
Anyway, he never finished building any of his LEGO, and his dog chewed some of the most important Pirate ship pieces.
I never understood why he bought such a high priced LEGO set, and all the other LEGO sets if he never finished building it. It was probably consumerism/wanting to make me jealous.
Anyway, I bought this set mint later though.
I really wish I didn't went through the dark ages. I gave all my LEGO away.
