>>10234591I don't actually own any of the Amber collection raptors. Until the Hammond Collection came out, I haven't collected JP toys since I was a little kid. So I can't really tell you how much of a downgrade it is in terms of movement and articulation, but just looking at that picture, yeah, the head sculpt is considerably lower quality than the Amber collection.
At first I was glad I got them on sale instead of paying full price, because of their heads, but they're actually very fun to mess around with and I think I'll buy more of them whether they are on sale or not. They're certainly not SHMA or other brand directed towards high end collectors, but I've become very fond of them.
