I'm not a vengeful man, but I admit I take a bit of morose pleasure in the sentai line dying right after they did the Sun Vulcan team. Right up until then the thing people kept touting was that the 90's Sentai wasn't popular among Japanese collectors, and that Showa era stuff was more popular. Sun Vulcan was touted as an example of a big team in Japan; then these came out and it bombed hard. We kept hearing how doing the big Power rangers teams like Zeo/In Space/TimeForce/ RPM were a non starter because they wouldn't be popular in Japan; then they do a hard turn to the Japanese market and get nothing. People kept trying to pin the blame on Power rangers fans for some MMPR SHF going on clearance at Barnes and Noble, then this happens.
