Back when the SW figures got shown on that shop website earlier this year, I had planned to use that shoulder and the leg armor to make a CCBS Slendy.
So come August it becomes reality, and two months later a spooky contest gets announced. It was destiny.
Or that's what I thought until Papyrus crushed my enthusiasm by being amazing. Oh well, it would have come down to something sleek and/or covered in tires anyway.
So then yesterday I get a sudden rush of "maybe I can make top 5 if I try REALLY hard" and stay up til 3 AM trying to make something that can top Papyrus or at least Slendy, and pic related is the best I could come up with. Problem is, while it's the greatest thing I've ever created, it's only a head. Had to go with Slendy after all.
So then today I get called in to work and have to take pics at night (which worked this time, spooky and whatnot), post it to BZP riddled with memes and even a "HE", and even paid $40 for premium membership in hopes that the status would make me appeal to BZP's users, only for some asshole to IMMEDIATELY accuse me of not taking a rigged contest seriously, and another to just say "nice meme".
Rarely do I feel this kind of regret.
I could have used that money to buy more parts. Or food. Or fucking anything.
It's like when you go to the store really hungry, or stop at a garage sale after cashing a check.
