I'm a sucker for the "This place was abandoned long ago, and nature has been left to its own devices", so I have to wonder what's happening to the "corpse".
Sapient species and Rahi have left the GSR but I suppose plants and non-living resources are still there. Imagine forests overgrowing, and Pit mutagen and broken Antidermis vats leaking everywhere, altering what little wildlife there may be left.
Also, I find it hard to believe everyone, literally everyone, left. Maybe some Rahi, some Rahkshi and maybe even some sapient beings didn't get the memo and are still there, having somehow survived and having created a new civilaztion..
Such a fascinating premise.
