The new one is based on later on in the fight when he powered up a couple times and the energy and power and shit was sweeping his hair straight upward. I can't find the exact manga panel, but the artwork is pretty much pic related. Its a pretty specific look, but I suppose having a bunch of different heads/hair for different situations, and its clear they wanted these various looks with the different bangs options too.
