>>6610689That was fucked yo. I did more this afternoon in a few hours than I'm almost two weeks but this took away my will to continue.
Wet sanded with a 600 grid worn out sponge (so 800 grid I guess) and except the deep chipping on that side all went out without damage on the clear red so the varnish took all the brunt luckily.
Also I like how it looks, matte metallic red. With some more polishing work this would be an awesome finish too but maybe for another build, someone else might find this useful tho.
I like the chip as it looks really realistic so I might lazy out and leave it as it's a war machine after all, so now I'll leave it be but the plan is only to recover the high gloss so not as bad as I thought.
Although it's never as easy at it looks...
